This project involved purchasing a 3 family building which was fully occupied by tenants.  Once the tenants moved out of one of the units, we came in to evaluate what kind of a renovation was needed.  The unit had a 5 year old kitchen, but it lacked a washer/dryer and dishwasher and the a layout was not ideal.  Additionally, the entire apartment was made sterile from previous “90s style” renovations.  The building is a beautiful Art Deco and it was sad to see the interior so devoid of charm. 

      It was clear that the space needed a brand new kitchen with all of the modern accoutrements and with a new layout to maximize light, an updated bathroom to complement the kitchen, a cozy snug with exciting wallpaper, exposed brick on the previous fireplaces plus some gorgeous tiling and antique cast iron fireback, a new built-in desk for the office & stain for the built in library and just a lot of bringing the space back to life while also making it feel contemporary and fresh.   We designed the entire home, including the interior architecture of the kitchen, our team did the renovation and then we also did the interior decoration of the home.
